Localish (to the Bay Area) Kid Author, Ryeson Bull

A few weeks ago, ABC7 News Bay Area came out to Wish Walnut Creek (an adorable and FUNNY adult/kids gift shop in Walnut Creek), and our house to interview Ryeson & Shana Bull all about the children’s book Randall the Blue Spider Goes Surfing, and the story of how the book was made (read more about that story here).

Ryeson had so much fun with Janel, and the video operator - until the camera started rolling - then he went upside down! Haha. You may relate to the face Shana made around 17 seconds into the video below)…

The Localish segment allowed us to showcase a glimpse of our daily life with Ryeson’s cystic fibrosis - daily nebulizer treatments, feeding tube meals, and a lot of bouncing on the bed. We also hope this video resonates with others because we love inspiring kids & adults by telling our - and Randalls - story!
